Regarding the members of management, this interest in aviation was born well before their own generation. The first of the family to show an interest in aviation was Victorien Prud’Homme. Born in 1915, he became what was called at the time an industrial and founded in 1953 his own cement plant called “Prud’Homme et Frères” located in l’Assomption. Apart from his business activities, he enjoyed hunting and fishing. To maximize his spare time he was looking for a means of transport capable of saving time to reach his cabin up north. He had no idea that the acquisition of his own single-engine piston aircraft (Cessna 185) would be the initial spark for several family members to come, starting with his own son Jacques.
Although there is no longer any trace of hid cement plant today, his interest in aviation has passed through the generations. When creating our brand, we have seen fit to make a nod to the investigator of our passion using some of the letters of his name to create our own identity.
